Catherine was born in Saint Louis Missouri and was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Louis University (’01). Catherine matriculated through the buying program at Macy’s Herald Square and proceeded to have a career in retail buying and subsequently leasing at Simon Property Group. After a move to the West Coast, she served on the non-profit board for GirlVentures and worked with other non-profits such as Girls on the Run and PlayMarin.  A champion of holistic health, Catherine is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and works one-on-one with clients. Weaving her love of health, the arts and access, Catherine facilitates arts and wellness courses through MILK.

Catherine is a Co-Founder of Garvey|Simon Art Gallery and is chartering the expansion of the gallery past its flagship location in New York and opening a new space in the West Coast outside of San Francisco in San Anselmo, California. The gallery will be offering curated shows, art advisory, experiences, and workshops.

Catherine currently lives in beautiful San Anselmo California with her four kids.
